Hi, I’m Megan, the proud owner of Paws & Moore!
For the past 15 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to turn my lifelong love for animals into a career I truly adore. For the last 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving the wonderful Kiawah Island community, building lasting relationships with both my two-legged clients and their four-legged family members!
Paws & Moore is a small, locally owned, family-run business with a wonderful team that includes my husband, my mom and a few others. Together, we take pride in providing dependable, personalized care with the love and attention every pet deserves.
As a proud dog mom to my Australian Shepherd, Griffin, I understand firsthand that our pets aren’t just animals — they’re family! I know how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for them while you’re away.
One of my favorite parts of this journey has been watching puppies grow into seniors, getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and becoming an extended part of so many wonderful families.
At Paws & Moore, we’re not just here to walk dogs or provide pet sitting. We’re here to build relationships, offer peace of mind, and love your pets like our own.

We already know, good news travels fast. Truly, we had no idea just how good our good news was going to be until we met Megan Moore. When she came to meet us for the first time, she put all of our hearts at ease right away. Our two Standard Schnauzers can be, shall we say, quite intimidating, especially when someone they don’t know enters the house. They gave Megan their best rambunctious routine in the beginning, with their deepest barks and twirly acrobatics. Before we knew it and faster than the speed of sound, Anya & Axel were on the sofa with Megan getting good lov’n and living it up. We were about ready to jump on the sofa with her too:) She definitely has a special and good spirit. Megan has excellent communication all the way around. The best and only way for us to describe Megan is, she really and truly cares. She listens to our needs with the utmost detail and follows through every time. That means a whole, whole lot, when we are away from our angel baby dolls, as we call our crew. She also stays in touch with us visit by visit with texts and photos. Such peace of mind is priceless. Megan goes above and beyond and through the roof for us and we are very thankful to know her and have her taking care of our Schnauzers.
